The Annals, Academy of Medicine, Singapore has been classified by the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) as a "general" journal, consisting of papers dealing with different specialties. The SMC will assess claims for CME points for the publication and review of papers from the Annals on an individual basis. The SMC will consider the specialty content of the paper against the doctor's registered specialty to determine whether core or non-core points will be awarded.
