The journal publishes communications dealing with the cell and molecular biology of granulocytes, mononuclear phagocytes, lymphocytes, NK cells, and other cells involved in host defense. Papers covering pathophysiology, cell development, growth and differentiation, extracellular mediators and effector molecules, and receptors, signal transduction, and genes are also included.
