Hormones and Behavior publishes a broad range of original articles concerned with behavioral systems that are known to be hormonally influenced. The range of articles extends from studies of the evolutionary significance of hormone?behavior relations to those concerned with cellular and molecular mechanisms of hormonal actions on tissues relevant to behavior. The use of behavior as a major dependent or independent variable is not essential, although such studies continue to be welcomed in the journal.
