Current Issues in Molecular Biology (CIMB) is a peer-reviewed journal publishing review articles and minireviews in all areas of molecular biology and molecular microbiology. Manuscripts undergo a peer-review process. Many articles are open access immediately upon publication. Submitted articles are subject to an Article Processing Charge (APC). CIMB also publishes Focus Issues on specific topics. Articles published in Focus Issues are by invitation only; they are not normally open access and authors do not pay an APC.
